Operators of the multi award-winning Hops & Apples beer shop, also in Hemel Hempstead, Hop Tap owners Tony and Tracey are no strangers to beery acclaim. At The Hop Tap, Tony and Tracey’ s range offers a spread of local favourites alongside national stars. With a plethora of cask ale, craft keg and boxed cider, no two sessions in the town square are the same, though always of top quality.
This quality extends through the pub’s hospitality, a warm welcome guaranteed always and special events peppered throughout the calendar. The reintroduction of the pub quiz (a staple of the building’s previous ‘Monks Inn’ operation) has been very well received indeed.
